Twelve shows, zero late bump-ins

Exhibition stands that survive the show floor and the after-party

Bonustrellis designs, engineers and builds custom and modular exhibition stands out of our Victoria workshop. We handle the CAD, the joinery, the lighting rig, the flat-pack crate and the bump-in crew, so on the morning of the show you're standing on carpet with a coffee instead of wrestling a drill.

4.8 average from 47 exhibitor reviews Design to bump-in: 6 to 9 weeks

Crated, labelled, ready to roll

Stands leave the workshop in numbered flight cases with a QR build sheet. Your brand ambassador can rebuild it in under ninety minutes with no tools beyond an Allen key.

The details

A stand is a machine — it should be engineered like one

Most exhibition stands get designed by a graphic designer who has never carried a 2.4 metre panel up a ramp at 6am. We do it the other way around. Our draftspeople design for the venue, the rigging height and the aisle footprint first, and the branding wraps around that skeleton. Modular aluminium frames with plywood infills mean you can reuse the same bones next show with a new skin, saving you between thirty and fifty percent on the second booking. Everything collapses into a flight case that fits a standard pallet jack.

  • Octanorm and custom aluminium frame systems rated for repeated assembly
  • Pre-drilled and dowelled joints so panel edges meet cleanly on every rebuild
  • Lighting calculated against the venue's ambient level, not guessed on site
  • Flight cases sized to standard pallet dimensions for cheap shipping
If it takes four people to lift a wall, the design failed before the show started.

Our record

What twelve years on the show floor teaches you

We've been bumped in and out of every major Australian venue. The lessons are not glamorous but they save time and money.

  • 2012

First stand for a regional winery

A three-by-three shell scheme upgrade for a small producer at the Bendigo Showgrounds. That client still runs with us eleven years later.

  • 2016

    Standardised on flight-case logistics

We stopped hiring trucks and started crating everything into wheeled cases. Bump-in times dropped by around two hours per job overnight.

  • 2020

    Modular system launch

Our own aluminium extrusion profile went into production, letting clients change wall heights on site and reuse frames across different booth sizes.

In-house AV and lighting

Screens, LED walls, spot rigs and audio all wired and tested in the workshop before crating. No venue hire of untested gear.

Storage between shows

We store your stand in the workshop between events, replace worn skins and re-label cases so nothing arrives with the last show's paperwork.

Own crew, own ute, own ramp, own schedule

We don't sub the bump-in to a labour hire mob who've never seen your stand. Our crew walks the floor before the doors open.

How we work

Seven stages from first sketch to last crate loaded

Every stage has a document your team can sign off. You'll never wonder what the workshop is doing this week.

01

Brief and floorplan intake

You send the organiser's floorplan, aisle lines and rigging heights. We note the venue's load-in windows and power limits in the same session.

02

Concept renders and layout

Two concept directions in SketchUp with dimensions, sightlines and product placement shown against a scale crowd silhouette.

03

Detailed drawings and sign-off

Chosen concept becomes a construction pack with joinery sections, electrical layout and a materials list. Signed drawing locks the price.

04

Workshop fabrication

Frames cut, joined and pre-assembled, joinery sprayed and panels printed. Every part gets a number matched to the crate diagram.

05

Pre-ship assembly and test

We build the stand once end-to-end in the workshop, photograph it, then pull it down. Fixing problems here costs hours, not show days.

06

Bump-in and on-site build

Our crew loads the truck, drives to the venue, and rebuilds against the organiser's allocated window. We hand over a tested, lit, running stand.

07

Bump-out and refurbish

We strike the stand, patch, refinish and re-crate in the workshop. Storage, kit audit and a condition report are issued within a week.

FAQ

Common questions before booking a stand build

If you're comparing quotes from three suppliers, these answers usually tell you which one has actually built a stand.

Lock a build slot

Show dates fill months ahead. Tell us the event and venue and we'll check the workshop schedule on the spot.

Check availability

Eight weeks before bump-in is the comfortable window for a modular build. Full customs with rigging engineering need ten to twelve. If you're inside four weeks we can often still do a shell upgrade or a hybrid using an existing frame.

Yes, and that's usually where the money gets saved. The frame, lighting rig and joinery travel intact. We swap printed skins, swap header heights if the new booth is shorter, and re-crate. Clients typically save around forty percent on the second outing.

We prepare the drawings and certificates you need — rigging plan, electrical load summary, stand design approval sheet — but the exhibitor submits them because the organiser contracts with you, not us. We do the chase, you do the signature.

Every part travels in a numbered flight case with foam blocking and a load sheet. If something arrives damaged you photograph it and call us. We carry spares of every commonly damaged panel and can overnight a replacement to any Australian capital.

Yes, subject to venue rigging rules and the cost of the aerial work. Rigging must be booked through the venue's official contractor on most sites. We'll design the frame so the suspension points land exactly where the rigger expects them.

We don't supply sales staff, but we do leave our own crew on call for the first morning to handle lighting or screen problems. If you need ongoing technical support across all show days we can quote a standby attendant.
